A refreshed brand identity for a social-impact film studio. Vivid Story is a studio in NYC that works at the intersection of art and social change, shifting behavior, decision making and policy through the power of storytelling. We developed a new brand identity that reflected a matured organization with a global mission.

Light is central to what Vivid Story does, as filmmakers, artists, and activists intent on surfacing issues that effect us all. We explored the way light expands, refracts, and ultimately fills spaces of darkness.

A color gradient inspired by shades of dusk takes us on a journey from darkness to light. Scrolling through the new website we notice that change can be subtle, but over time, we find ourselves inhabiting a new space altogether.
